Resignation Letter Example Format Tips
- Your Name and Address: If your stationery has a preprinted
letterhead, skip this in your resignation letter. Otherwise, type your name,
postal address and optionally, your phone number. These days, it's a good idea
to provide an email address too.
- Date Today: If you're not using a letterhead, then type
the date on the line directly below your address. Otherwise, type it two to
six lines below the letterhead. Three lines are standard, as indicated in the
resignation letter example above.
